Dog sledding is one of the coolest activities you can try here in Northern Norway and we now offer this fantastic activity here at Malangen Brygger.

Beneath the Arctic night sky, we move effortlessly up the hillside above Malangen Brygger, pulled up dogs whose only sound is a light panting. The sound of sled′s runners on the cold snow and the sight of the dogs′ breath rising as they display enthusiasm and pure force to pull you across the snow-covered landscape provide a genuine wilderness experience. From the sled behind the dog team, you can experience the majestic nature of Malangen, the Arctic sky, cold sunny days, powerful snowstorms, moonlight or the majestic Northern Lights - whatever the Arctic nature offers in wintertime. We guarantee that this adventure will provide total peace and relaxation and a break from the everyday stresses of life.

Dog sledding is suitable for everyone. You may either drive your own dog team in a controlled environment or be a passenger in a sled. You can choose whether you try dog sledding in the pitch black of the Polar Night with a headlamp or the moonlight to show the way, beneath the majestic Northern Lights or on a bright, sunny day. We offer dog sledding excursions during the daytime and evening in the period from October to May (subject to snow conditions).

The tour price includes suitable clothing, but we recommend you wear woollen or fleece garments.
