If you want to experience the Malangen Fjord in a different way, we offer fjord cruses aboard Biskop Hvoslef, a veteran sailing vessel built in 1933 for search and rescue. The boat is well equipped (two toilets, shower and 10 berths) and is certified to carry 23 passengers. The vessel is also fully licensed (you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol). You decide the route or we can make suggestions, with the option of short fjord cruises and longer overnight excursions.

We are happy to assist with the planning of a trip to please friends, colleagues and/or business partners. We can arrange trips to historic places to get a taste of life in days gone by, such as the historic water-driven Aursfjordsaga saw mill and the adjacent historic schoolhouse. How about wandering along the beach on an uninhabited stretch of our windswept coastline or along fjords where few have walked before and see what the sea has washed ashore before you are picked up and a tasty meal and drinks are served on board?

We can also take you to places where accommodation is available and you may combine your trip with history, mountain hikes or freshwater fishing etc. If you like, it′s possible to take tents and camp on the shores of an idyllic mountain lake not far from the fjord. The crew can prepare dinner in the open air (weather permitting).

Participants must supply their own sleeping bags, toiletries and suitable clothing (boots, rainwear, oilskins etc.) You may also bring your own hand lines or deep-sea fishing rods. At the end of the trip, any catch is divided among the participants.
