Via Malangen Grunneierlag (land owner′s association), Malangen Brygger offers an area comprising 13 fishing lakes and three rivers.

NIKKAVANNET: 70 m above sea level and is the closest lake to Malangen Brygger. It′s just a 10-minute walk from the resort. The chances are good here of catching trout and char. You can fish with a rod round the entire lake.

PERKELVANNET: 100 m above sea level and just a 20-minute walk from Malangen Brygger. Rod fishing is also possible round the entire lake, while char is the expected catch here.

SKUTVIKVANNET: 110 m above sea level and a five-minute drive from Malangen Brygger. There is a road much of the way around the lake.  Perch and trout are the main fish species. There is a lot of scrub is places and rod fishing is easiest on the north-western side of the lake.

SANDSVANNET: 105 m above sea level and a 10-minute drive from Malangen Brygger. This lake is situated at the Nyjord mountain village above Sand/Mortenhals. Fish species here are trout, char and perch. This lake is extremely popular with families all year round and there is a road round the entire lake. Rod fishing is possible around most of the lake.

Malangen Brygger sells joint fishing licences, apart from the period from 1.09-31.10 when fishing is prohibited. Children and youth under 16 years of age do not require fishing licences.
