The product

Malangen comprises various types of holiday homes. All properties now on sale feature a modern design and we offer a choice of properties on the waterfront and middle and upper sections. Prices vary according to product selection. All properties form part of the overall concept of hotel and course and conference centre.

The area is zoned commercial. This means the units can be utilised by the owner for part of the year, but also made available for rental through a special contract with Malangen Utvikling AS. However, the rental obligation does not apply for cabins on the mountainside across the road.

Leasing concept

Purchase/lease back is a totally new concept which secures you lower costs. Every property is available for lease in conjunction with the course and conference centre. All administration is handled by Malangen Utvikling AS. This includes booking, administration and of course cleaning. Any income from leasing is split between the owner and Malangen Utvikling AS. In this way, income from lease back can finance a large proportion of your holiday home and can even generate a profit.
